Computers are an integral part of daily life. Having a working knowledge of computer components and terminology aids us both professionally and personally. This Bigger Brains course provides foundational information to help you understand your computer and make informed decisions. 

You’ll learn about types of computers, hardware that makes up a computer’s internal components, and software programs. You’ll also learn about Operating Systems, what they are and what they do, as well as data, files, and input and output devices. 
You’ll learn the types of displays and wireless connections and how they have changed the face of connectivity regarding computers.

Finally, you’ll learn ways to troubleshoot when things are not working correctly and how to maximize and protect your computer by keeping it updated.
