Chart Learning Solutions Launches L&D-as-a-Service Globally, Signs intRAtrain as First US Partner and Secures South African University Agreement

The Swedish company has signed intRAtrain as its first US partner for the new L&D-as-a-Service offering and secured a two-year direct agreement with a leading South African university.
BÅSTAD, Sweden — Chart Learning Solutions today announced the launch of its L&D-as-a-Service offering, signing intRAtrain, a US-based training and development company specializing in sales and leadership development, as its first partner for the new service. intRAtrain has already signed its own first customer using the offering, whose identity remains confidential at this time. The service is available on a global basis in English.
intRAtrain will use Chart Learning Solutions' ChartGOTM platform alongside its own training expertise to deliver a complete learning and development service to its clients. The signing reflects Chart Learning Solutions' heritage: the company traces its origins to the United States prior to relocating its headquarters to Sweden.
Alongside the US signing, Chart Learning Solutions has also signed a two-year agreement with a leading South African university to deliver the L&D-as-a-Service offering to 1,000 employees. The university's identity remains confidential at this time.
Chart Learning Solutions' L&D-as-a-Service offering combines fractional L&D expertise, the ChartGOTM AI-powered learning platform, learning content, capability assessments, implementation support, administration, and reporting within one managed offering, designed for organizations that need professional L&D capabilities but may not have the resources, scale, or need to build a complete internal department.
"Building an effective learning function can require specialist resources, technology, content, administration, and significant implementation work," said Peter Hörwing, CEO of Chart Learning Solutions. "Our L&D-as-a-Service model brings these capabilities together through one flexible service, with lower cost and faster setup. The first signings in the US and South Africa also demonstrate how the model can be delivered through different channels."
"Our team at intRAtrain is excited to partner with Chart Learning Solutions, using the ChartGOTM platform alongside our own expertise and experience to deliver a complete L&D service to our clients," said Jerry Van Oort, CEO of intRAtrain. "This service complements our internal capabilities in custom learning solutions, implementation, execution, and coaching with a broader professional learning and development offering."
A Flexible Alternative or Complement to an Internal L&D Function
Organizations often need specialist support to identify priorities, select technology and content, administer learning, engage employees, and implement development programs — support that can be costly and time-consuming to manage internally, particularly for small and medium-sized organizations. The service can support an existing HR or L&D team or operate as a fractional external L&D function, allowing organizations to access the resources they need according to their size, priorities, and existing internal capabilities.
What the Service Includes
The L&D-as-a-Service offering brings together:
● Fractional L&D expertise and operational support
● The ChartGOTM AI-powered learning management system
● Proprietary, partner, customized, and customer-owned learning content
● Capability and development assessments
● Learning program setup and implementation
● Learner administration and engagement support
● Reporting and follow-up
This combination reduces the time and complexity of managing multiple suppliers to launch and operate a professional learning solution.
Faster Setup and More Predictable Costs
A traditional internal L&D setup may require separate investments in technology, content, internal staffing, consultants, and administration. Chart Learning Solutions brings these capabilities together through a coordinated service with faster implementation and a more predictable cost base.
The offering can be adapted to organizations at different levels of L&D maturity, from launching a first learning academy to adding specialist capability to an existing function.
Expanding the US Partner Network
Following the signing of its first US partner, Chart Learning Solutions is inviting US-based training providers, HR technology companies, and consulting firms to explore a partnership. Interested organizations can contact the company directly using the details below.
